We don't like waste which is why we've created this wonderful, plastic-free washing up sponge. Handmade in Dorset using off cuts from our Waffle Kitchen Cloth fabric.
 
This reusable, sustainable sponge is a great eco alternative to plastic sponges. Perfect for use in the kitchen or bathroom. Each sponge is filled with fabric scraps in true zero waste style.
 
Please note: These zero waste kitchen un-sponges are made from fabric scraps so sizes may vary slightly, but each one is made with love and passion for minimal waste.

  • MATERIALS & CARE

    Handmade using cotton fabric offcuts.

    Approx 9cm (W)  x 14cm (H)

    Wring out after each use and allow to air dry naturally.

    Machine wash at 30°C.

    At the end of its life (usually 4 months) cut up and place in the compost bin.

  • PACKAGING

    Product tags are made from recycled office paper and are 100% recyclable.

Useless

Firstly, there’s absolutely no give in the material used on the top band, which makes it very difficult to fit the liner.
More importantly, the bottom handle was soaked through when the liner was removed from the bin, which means that it isn’t totally waterproof. Extremely disappointing.

Lush

Such a lovely kit! Great for starting your eco journey or topping up on some faves. The produce bag is also great for washing the cotton pads in so they don’t get lost in the wash!

Essential if you are going eco!

This is probably one of those products that you wondered how you lived without! We haven’t bought kitchen roll for 3 and a half years now. As with all of Moonie products they look fab in the kitchen, are super quality and last ages.
